Welcome, friends, to the twisted world of The Frightful Fetus. The madness unfolding takes place in Century City, a metropolis of forward thinking, forward moving, and beings of extraordinary abilities. As with any 'super' tale, there are both heroes and villains. For our purposes, we will be focusing on a villain - The Frightful Fetus. He did not choose his name for any other reason than the obvious - he is a fetus. The product of a botched back-alley abortion, the Fetus was found in a dumpster by a sentient alien observer who took pity on this innocent, pathetic little creature. He integrated the Fetus into himself, sustaining his wee-little life. And live he did... but at what cost?

When I (Stephen) first decided to do The Frightful Fetus, I sent Jim McMunn the following: "...he (then refered to as The Fearful Fetus) was dumped into the garbage after a back-alley abortion. Little did the twisted 'doctor' who dumped him know that hiding in the same alley was a robotic alien who was sent down to observe human behavior. The alien was so disgusted with what he saw that he rewired himself to create a chamber within his chest that would house and sustain the fetus. Fetus' mind and intellect grew, but his body did not, forcing him to rely on his robotic alien guardian to keep him alive. Eventually, The Fetus' intellect grew beyond that of his guardian and The Fetus took over the robot. Now he is one completely self-sustaining unit, bent on taking over the world that cast him aside with the garbage."

Shortly thereafter, Jim sent me the following page of Fetus designs. I knew immediately that we were onto something. From there, the script started rolling and the pages started flowing. Jim brought a magic and personality to The Fetus that simple words can't convey, and we've been off to the races with it ever since.
